1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Secord Solutions’ website and shopping cart, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Ordering and Product Specifications
- Custom vs. Stock: Orders for custom-manufactured PCBs begin immediately upon payment. Once production starts, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
- Technical Accuracy: You are responsible for the accuracy of Gerber files or schematics provided. We are not liable for boards that do not function due to design errors in the provided files.
- Availability: All orders are subject to component availability. We reserve the right to cancel orders if parts become obsolete or unavailable.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are in US Dollars and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is required in full at the time of checkout. We use secure third-party processors and do not store your credit card information.
4. Shipping and Risk of Loss
- Lead times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs or carrier issues.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery of the items to the carrier.
5. Return and Refund Policy
- Defective Items: Claims for manufacturing defects must be made within 30 days of receipt. We may require photos or the return of the boards for inspection.
- Non-Returnable Items: Custom-manufactured PCBs cannot be returned for a refund unless there is a clear manufacturing deviation from your provided specifications.
- Restocking Fee: Returns on standard stock items may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
6. Limitation of Liability and Safety Warning
- Static Sensitive: Electronic components are sensitive to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). We are not liable for damage caused by improper handling, soldering, or integration.
- No Life-Critical Use: Our products are not authorized for use in life-support systems, medical devices, or nuclear applications without express written consent.
- Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price of the goods.
7. Intellectual Property
You warrant that any designs or files uploaded do not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Michigan / United States of America.
